The companies say people will be able to read edit and create new Word Excel PowerPoint and neNote programs on Nokia smart phones which run an operating system called Symbian that competes with Microsoft Corp. ’s own Windows Mobile. Nokia phones will also work with Microsoft’s Unified Communications system which brings together Internet-based phones instant messaging e-mail and online conferencing for a company’s employees. The companies say Nokia smart phones with Microsoft communication software will start shipping next year and ffice programs will come later.
