Microsoft to Support DF in ffice 2007 Service Pack 2

1 format when ffice 2007 Service Pack 2 arrives in the first half of 2009. Microsoft said users will be able to open edit and save documents in DF from directly inside ffice application without having to install any other code. That means no more translators. They will even be able to set DF as the default… Ditto those who use the Chinese national document file format standard Uniform ffice Format (UF). SP2 is also supposed to support the XML Paper Specification (XPS) Portable Document Format (PDF) 1. Microsoft said SP2 users will be able to save documents in XPS and PDF. It says it has also has defined a roadmap for its implementation of its own ffice pen XML (XML) the format that was recently ratified as an IS standard alongside DF. XML is what Microsoft called “substantially” supported in ffice 2007 and said it would update that support in the next major version release of ffice code named ffice 14.

He also shared that selling zero-days to anyone apart from the vendor didn’t feel quite right but that vulnerabilities researchers need to make a living. Alexander Seger spoke about the Council of Europe’s Convention on Cybercrime. Essentially the Convention on Cybercrime is attempting to facilitate a global approach on cybercrime by creating judicial agreement on computer security laws and procedures. Cybercrime by its very nature often crosses state federal and national boundaries.

!General MS S Stability By Richard Posted Friday 23rd May 2008 15:30 GMT. I never ended up with a fix for that. I have an HP HX2490b running Windows Mobile 5. 0 – that died last night – It won’t charge or do anything. The S for the device has gone Pete Tong totally and have taken the main battery out to allow the secondary battery to die and hopefully revert the PDA back to factory default and hopefully it will reboot… Smaller file sizes. Microsoft have some really good Flash apps on their support site that show you the ffice 2003 interface you choose a command and it tells you how to do it in ffice 2007. Great but it’s so hidden. This should have been linked to from the ffice Help menu. As for Vista an uptime of about 1 month on a laptop. Seamless sleeping and hibernation (can’t say that about Linux).
