In my tests a Glide-created presentation converted to PDF without a glitch. The simplicity interactivity and unlimited free storage of Google Docs’ presentation component will appeal to many people but for power users it falls short. By comparison Glide has covered all the bases with a compelling software offering that could emerge as a true Web-based replacement for Microsoft PowerPoint. Google Docs (Presentations).

Kingsoft is compatible with and similar to Microsoft ffice. Files created on the latter can be opened by the former and vice versa. However the free Kingsoft ffice Personal 2007 doesn?t allow users to open PDF files and advertisements will appear on the right of the screen. Kingsoft features three applications: Kingsoft Writer similar to Microsoft Word Kingsoft Spreadsheets the equivalent to Microsoft Excel and Kingsoft Presentation their version of Microsoft PowerPoint. This software also supports functions and services in Windows and is compatible with Microsoft?s VBA (visual basic for application) programming language.
