Hold the frame down a couple of seconds and those arrows on the buttons blink. That indicates the mouse is in presenter mode. So when you’re in a slideshow presentation program such as Microsoft’s PowerPoint the buttons will serve as forward and back buttons and the scroll wheel can click to blank the screen. I really liked these presenter tools which worked very well. I did have trouble with the scroll wheel however. The wheel tilts from side to side for horizontal scrolling which worked fine. It also worked K scrolling backwards.

I’ve lost calls trying to switch to speakerphone on my current Sony Ericsson device because of the annoying two-step process required. Here it’s as simple as tapping a prominently marked touch screen button. You can both view and edit Microsoft Word Excel and Powerpoint files for crucial time-sensitive reports crafted on the run. And no one has ever figured out how to present contacts and calendar information simpler and easier than Palm. They’ve saved many of us from career-ending missed appointments more than once.
