The new wireless presentation gateway is based on the 802. 11g wireless standard and is compatible with a wide range of wireless devices. The DPG-2100 has in-built audio support and also allows presenters access the Internet by connecting to an existing network via the Ethernet port. Microsoft provided more than 6000 pages of documentation to allow rivals to take advantage of the new format. Macehiter said Microsoft’s rivals may have a more difficult case to prove since Microsoft has released the documentation.

Microsoft says 750 million people use the trusty spreadsheet application worldwide making it the most widely used tool in its ffice suite aside from the utlook e-mail manager and calendar.
